I’ve always delved into the areas of character design, storytelling and illustration, valuing unique takes on basic ideas and designs that may not be the standard or popular interpretation of themes or troupes, working in both digital and traditional media.

 

Friends have always been a motivation for me. Helping someone bring their character to life, or seeing their reaction to an illustration created from their head is always worth it. It’s a way to connect with others through the designs and art, knowing that something I created might spark imagination or help someone express something they couldn’t put into words, or visualise themselves, is what keeps me going.

 

I find inspiration in other people’s design work, in personal clothing or aesthetics I like myself, and in friends, what they want to come to life. Sometimes I see a scenic piece or an illustration rendered in such a perfect way that it makes me want to create something like that too. My recent practises have involved more detailed pieces that display personalities and characteristics through image and design.
